Cam grew up mostly in a single-parent household, moving frequently across different neighborhoods in Scarborough. Raised in a low-income family, Cam learned early on the importance of perseverance and hard work, constantly motivated by the desire for a better life. Despite facing the challenges of limited resources, his upbringing instilled a deep sense of resilience and determination. These experiences shaped his passion for community, driving him to connect with others who shared similar struggles and hopes for a brighter future.

Now the proud manager of Scarborough Spots, a local store that celebrates and honors the vibrant culture of Scarborough, Cam is committed to giving back to the community that shaped him. Through the store, he fosters a sense of pride and unity, striving to create a space that not only showcases the best of the area but also serves as a hub for local community. Cam is dedicated to ensuring that Scarborough’s young people have access to resources and opportunities he never had, empowering them to thrive and become active, positive members of the community. Through the United Scarborough Initiative, his goal is to help these kids break barriers, offering guidance and support to help them reach their full potential.
